Two policeman arrested in rape case

Two policemen including a special officer have been arrested by the CID in connection with a 2010 rape case in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The case, which was registered two years ago and later closed by Venukonda police in Guntur was re-investigated by CID which established the rape of a married woman by constable Orsu Venkatesh with the help of SPO Saida, who prevented the victim's husband to rescue her.
