The buzz from the Film Nagar scuttlebutt machinery goes that Nandamuri Balakrishna is seriously planning to act in a folklore movie. The movie will be directed by the actor himself. He had reportedly employed a team to research in to the stories. This movie may be his 100th movie and most probably will be produced by Sri Rama Rajyam producer Yalamanchili Sai Babu under his Sri Sai Baba movies banner.
Balayya started the shooting of Narthanasala in 2004 under his own direction with the beautiful and talented actress Soundarya as Draupadi. But fate did not permit this and this actress who was a bundle of talent lost her life in a plane crash. With the untimely death of the actress this project was shelved.
