High Court stay on Denikaina Ready telugu movie

 

Responding to the petition filed by cine actor and producer Mohanbabu challenging the Government’s decision to review his son Manchu Vishnu’s latest movie ‘Denikayina Ready by a specially constituted committee, High Court has stayed the Committee. Agreeing with Mohanbabu arguments, the HC categorically stated that “Once the Censor Board gives permission to any film, then the Government can’t interfere in its decision nor can it review the film again through any committees.” It said the same condition applies to another film ‘A woman in Brahmanism’ which also stirred controversy during last few days.

Both these films draw huge protests from Brahmin community in the state, who argues of hurting their feelings. With the latest verdict of HC, the controversy may lead to further tensions between Mohanbabu and the community.
