Synopsis :
Priyamani plays the role of two siamese twins Charu and Latha. They live together in a hospital as the part of treatment. There they meet they meet a boy, Ravi (Skanda). Both fall in love with him, but he loves one of them. He tries to get them separated. But other girl, who is not loved by him, kills the one he loves and acts like her. What happens next will form the crux of this horror movie.
Performances:
National award winner Priyamani had once again proved her acting mettle with this movie. She delivered excellent performance in both the emotional and horror scenes. The way she showed variation in both the characters certainly deserves a pat on her back.
Skanda had done a decent job too. Other like Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha, Sai Sasi and Aarthi have also done justice to their respective roles.
Technical Performances:
The movie is a remake of a Thai movie. Director Pon Kumar had selected a good subject but fell short in treatment. The movie gets horribly slow at several places testing the patience of the audience. There were few spine chilling moments which did not make an impression due to the slow pace.
Sundar C Babu’s music is the main highlight. His background score added to the mood of the movie and enhanced the suspence and horror element.Songs are just okay. Panner Selvam’s cinematography is just as need to this genre of movies. Donmax’s editing could have been better.
Final Say:
Playing Siamese twins is not easy despite the best technology we have. The unit had managed that part convincingly and Priyamani had done perfect justice to her role. But the director let down the movie with his snail paced narration. Thumbs up for the efforts but the final out put could have been better. Watch it if you have nothing to do.
